Who we are: The Vucina Family

As devoted dog lovers, our family started Let's Talk Frenchie, LLC in 2015 to share our love of French Bulldogs with the world. Hello. I'm Shaune, retired Air Force Veteran with a background in Cyber Security. Now, stay at home mom devoting my time to my children and fur-babies. Our intent, to connect healthy puppies with caring families. Our French Bulldogs are more than pets, they are our family. All of our dogs live inside of our home. Our puppies are raised by hand, and receive constant human attention, and affection. In addition, they come well socialized with children.

Health Guarantee

At Let's Talk Frenchie, we understand the things you are looking for in a companion. We understand the importance of having your new family member come to you healthy, and happy with good genetics. There are a number of things we do to ensure your experience with us is a positive one.

1. Every puppy for sale holds a 365-day health guarantee.
2. All puppies are kept up to date on all vaccinations and de-wormer.
3. All puppies are vet checked and come with a health certificate.
4. All puppies receive health and color coat genetics testing.

Within 3 days of receiving your new puppy, you must take him/her to a licensed veterinarian for an examination. If the vet determines that your dog is clinically ill or has died from an injury sustained on or before the date of sale and delivery, you have the following options:

-Return the dog for a replacement dog of equal value.
-Retain the dog  and receive reimbursement for the reasonable veterinarian fees, not exceeding the purchase price.
-These options do not apply when a health certificate issued by a veterinarian, discloses in writing at the time of sale the health problem for which the buyer later seeks to return the dog.

About the French Bulldog Breed

Adaptability
French Bulldogs are known for their exceptional adaptability, making them an excellent choice for various living situations.
1. City Living: French Bulldogs thrive in urban environments due to their calm and quiet nature, requiring minimal space and exercise.
2. Small spaces: They are perfect for apartment living, as they don't need a large yard or excessive space to run.
3. Travel: French Bulldogs are great travel companions, as they are relatively small and east to transport.
4. Family dynamics: French Bulldogs adapt well to various family situations, including singles, couples, and families with children.
5. Weather: while they can be sensitive to hotter climates, Frenchies can adapt to different climates with proper care and attention.

Owner Experience
French Bulldogs are known for their affectionate and loving nature, providing companionship and comfort to their owners. They are playful and entertaining, but also enjoy lounging around, making them a great fit for owners with varying activity levels. French Bulldogs can be stubborn, requiring patient and consistent training.

Health

The adoption of a puppy is a big commitment. As a prospective dog owner, we suggest that you thoroughly research the French Bulldog breed. By doing so you are ensuring that a new Frenchie addition is a good fit for you and your family.

The French Bulldog breed is susceptible to the following health issues.
1. Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome (BOAS): A lifelong and progressive disorder that can shorten the lifespan of French Bulldogs in severe cases.
2. Heat Stroke: A common issue that can be fatal if not treated promptly.
3. Eye Issues: French Bulldogs are prone to dry eye, cherry eye, eruption and corneal ulcers.

Grooming

French Bulldogs require regular grooming to maintain their coat, and overall health. Their skin can be prone to irritation, so regular cleaning and dry of skin folds is essential. Nails should be trimmed every 3 to 5 weeks to prevent overgrowth. Ears need to be cleaned once a week to prevent infections. Teeth should be brushed regularly to prevent dental issues. Bathe them every month or as needed, and ensure they are thoroughly dried after bathing, paying close attention to skin folds.
